None of the USB ports worked, and the dual view button on the front did absolutely nothing. However, after installing the recommended update drivers and software, the device still didn't work. I was very happy to see that the docking station had arrived quickly. I'm a graphic designer and have many inputs going into and out of my laptop.
Windows Update gets the drivers for you.it couldn't be easier. I'm not sure what was wrong with the previous reviewer, but this is detected and supported in Vista with no problems.
I bought the Kensington because the reviews seemed better than the reviews on the Belkin station, but that is wrong. I bought the Belkin Docking station and it was a much better product. I would not recommend buying this product. This product did not work well at all. After using it for about a week and sent it back to Amazon.
Its recommended product. I would love to see the customization where i can select if speakers and mic should go to external one when i connect the USB wire or should remain in laptop. This is one cool docking station, works with every laptop but only uptil 19" external screen (that's why only 4 stars). Very fast, reliable.
I will be returning it to the store. The support website also does not have the drivers updated or even a beta version to work with a 64 bit or 32 bit premuim version. I purchased this product and tried installing it both on a 32 bit Vista \premium and 64 bit Vista Business notebook. This cannot be installed on either.
